We’re proud to be sponsoring Sea Change Atlantic as they prepare for The Atlantic Dash, a 3,200-mile row from Lanzarote to Antigua in aid of Parkinson’s UK and Axminster and Lyme Cancer Support .
The crew are due to set off in January 2027. They expect to spend around 60 days at sea, taking on one of the world’s longest organised rowing events.
We recently spent time with the team as they continued their preparations. We stepped on board the boat and heard first-hand what it takes to get ready for a challenge of this scale.
From training and teamwork to the realities of daily life at sea, it was a chance to see how much planning, resilience and commitment sits behind the row.
Meet the team taking on the Atlantic row
During our visit, the crew talked us through what life will be like on the water. They shared more about the routines, pressures and practical challenges they’ll face during the crossing.
They also spoke about their roles within the team, how they are preparing physically and mentally, and why supporting Parkinson’s UK is such an important part of the challenge.
