Product Owner
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires Product Owner to be based at their client’s office in London / Bristol, UK.
This is a hybrid role – you can work remotely in the UK and attend the London / Bristol office 3 days per week .
This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start asap
Day rate: Competitive Market rate
Key Responsibilities
1) Product Vision & Strategy
- Own and articulate the product vision and roadmap, aligned to:
- Group Strategy, Customer journeys, Platform strategy
- Expected to think 12-24 months ahead, not just sprint-to-sprint
2) Stakeholder Management & Alignment
- Act as the single point of accountability between:
- Business stakeholders (Coverage, Segment Heads, Ops, Risk)
- Engineering / Platform teams
- Manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders
- Strong expectation of senior stakeholder confidence and influence
- Backlog Ownership & Prioritisation
- Own and maintain a prioritised product backlog based on:
- Business value, Regulatory / risk needs, Capacity constraints
- Balance:Customer demands, Tech debt, Platform resilience, Change/release constraints
- Delivery & Execution Leadership
- Work closely with: Engineering Leads, Solution Architects, Integrators
- Financial & Value Management
- Own the product budget and forecast
- Track: Value realization, Cost vs benefit, Investment efficiency
- Leadership & Ways of Working
- Drive clarity, pace, and accountability in the team
- Senior POs are role models, not just backlog managers
