Security Architect Reviewer
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires Security Architect Reviewer (SAR) to be based at their client’s office in London, UK.
This is a hybrid role – you can work remotely in the UK and attend the London office 2-3 days per week .
This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start asap
Day rate: Competitive Market rate
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security architecture and solutions aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure security integration across all technology projects, including cloud services and on-premises systems.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security throughout system development and deployment lifecycles.
- Prepare and maintain security documentation such as architecture diagrams, policies, and standards.
- Lead the adoption of new security technologies and practices to address emerging security threats.
- Develop security architecture design patterns and standards aligned with group security requirements, industry standards, regulatory expectations, and best practices.
- Support the development and enhancement of the Security Architecture control framework.
- Research, design, and document security posture requirements and controls for newly introduced technologies within the organization.
- Monitor and research industry trends and evolving regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity.
- Lead security architecture risk evaluations for systems, including reviewing risks and recommending tactical and strategic remediation plans.
- Promote and implement secure-by-design practices across both existing and new systems, including leading threat modelling activities.
- Encourage the adoption of secure technical practices to achieve technical excellence across teams.
- Support experimentation and innovation in addressing security challenges and improving solutions.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of security metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Security Architecture function.
- Support the creation and management of content for the Security Architecture intranet presence.
- Guide, mentor, and support team members to strengthen security architecture capabilities across the organization.
Key Requirements
- Extensive experience in security, architecture and design.
- In-depth knowledge of security standards, protocols, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using security and project management tools.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
