QA Engineer – AI, Data & Cloud Applications
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced QA Engineer – GPT.
This is a fully remote role.
This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start asap
Day rate: Competitive Market rate
The QA Engineer will be working on the client’s content services platform that provides actionable business insights and predictive analytics through Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The QA Engineer will provide design and delivery of Test Plans and functional tests within the agile development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience testing cloud applications, analysing data and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in design discussions about the technical implementation and consider the trade-offs to support business value, scalability and delivery timeline
- Analyse data and reports for Quality audits, develop QA Test Plans, write functional test cases that meet the requirements
- Design and build easily maintainable Test framework and reusable test scripts
- Execute and validate the developed solution meets the business requirements
- Perform Functional and Regression testing as needed on various components.
Key Requirements:
- Must have demonstrable good experience in Software application testing
- Must have data audit and data analytics experience
- Must have 3 years of experience developing Test plans and writing Test Cases
- Understanding of distributed processing frameworks like PySpark
- Understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) APIs and services is highly desired
- Experience testing Machine Learning / AI applications
- Motivated individual who learns quickly, has pride in building a new product and can engage others to accelerate technical solutions
- Experience in working with distributed teams
- 3 years of experience working with Agile Scrum methodologies and bug creation in tools like JIRA
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, 508) required
- Experienced in performing manual (screen-reader) and automated accessibility testing
- Must have strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills with a track record of delivering production grade systems in a team environment
